It's very tourist friendly but much less touristy than Mykonos. Naxos has a small gay scene centred around a couple of gay venues. It's a very picturesque island.

There are ancient ruins and charming little towns to explore. Naxos is also considerably more affordable than Santorini or Mykonos. Naxos Beach Hotels Naxos is a great place to explore Cycladic culture without the crowds. It's one of the most beautiful Greek islands. It's a short boat ride away from Mykonos and Santorini so you can indulge in some island hopping.
