Spartanburg gay friendly bars

Hi all, anyone knows any Gay friendly bars or club around the area to help a cousin of mine who is planning to come stay with me from California for a week. His boyfriend cheated on him and I just want to help the guy out for the meantime while he is here.

I believe the Castle off Pleasantburg closed several years back after being there for decades and there was a long standing one near Airport and Haywood that closed too both due gay owner retirement I think. With so much growth in Gville you would think it would be a good business opp for someone. Something friendly than the same standard run of the mill bars and clubs now.

Not sure about Spartanburg. But the Gaslight over off Pleasantburg seems. I don't know what to call it, but seems the closest thing to what you're looking for. Originally Posted by vistatiger. It was once a Pizza Place and a movie theater back when I was a kid. I believe the one on the curve on Airport was torn down too.

Another funny story my buddy told me straight guys from out of town used to come inside in error thinking it was the Landing Strip Gentleman's Club called something else now just down Airport Road. Despite sodomy laws being struck down in by the Supreme Court, South Carolina does selectively enforce these laws anyways; they do it to strike fear in the gay community, and keep them invisible, and in the closet. South Carolina requires all these people arrested for such, to register as a sex offenders.

How does one get arrested for sodomy?
